Fashion & Retail

Hannah has been heavily involved with in the fashion design, manufacturing and retail space, due to having a deep affection for fashion, art and design herself. Being a Melbourne based accounting practice, we want to ensure that we can highlight and support the creatives and their businesses they create here also, which famously makes Melbourne the creative capital of Australia.

Dealing with retail businesses that deal directly with consumers, or just wholesaling, to those who create and design their own product, or deal with third party pattern makers and fabric manufacturers, we have seen and assisted these kinds of businesses through success and tribulation, especially in a very competitive and turbulent market. We are very well versed in  retail businesses that sell goods locally in  Australia, as well as businesses who successfully expand interstate and internationally. We have dealt heavily with retail business that are bricks and mortar focussed, online only, or both.

We not only have the resources to assist in the day to day operation of retail businesses, and of course the management of tax in these businesses, but pride ourselves at having a tight knit community of clients who are willing to share their experiences with one another and mentor other newly established or changing businesses. We also have experts in retail space expansion, lenders and business brokers for any time a businesses needs expertise during any time in their business journey.

Joy Jensen is allied with Melbourne Fashion Festival, Vogue In Conversation and our direct client base to keep up to date with the changes and challenges within the retail industry both locally and abroad.
